While most people associate performance and exercise testing to professional athletes, we recognize that it is highly beneficial to everyone. It is essential whether you aim to lose weight, are looking to improve gym performance or preparing for a marathon.

It is important to understand where we are starting in order to progress and achieve your goals. We partner with Anglia Ruskin University Testing Lab to ensure that you get the best facilities when it comes to testing your performance and training levels.

We will use the results from your tests to properly advise you on training sessions and conditioning programs. The results will allow us to further personalize your training, to ensure your workouts are correctly tailored for you and your body.

What’s Included:

  • Injury Prevention Movement Screening: Identifies any movement dysfunctions that could lead to injury.

  • VALD Force Plates Performance Testing: Assesses strength and power production in the upper and lower body. This includes testing for asymmetries during static and dynamic running, cycling, and swimming-specific movements. Identifying asymmetry is key to improving movement efficiency and reducing the risk of injury.

  • Detailed Range of Motion Assessment: Evaluates the flexibility and mobility of the upper and lower body joints to identify any limitations that may affect movement patterns.

  • Isometric Strength Assessment: Utilizes the VALD dynamometer to measure strength in the upper and lower body.

  • FTP Bike Assessment: To assess cycling performance.

  • Performance Report: A comprehensive report with normative data will be provided at the end of the assessment.
